AgLocal Accepts $1 Million VC Funding

Overland Park, Kansas  --  Agricultural software developer AgLocal has garnered $1 million in new venture capital investment.

AgLocal has created a mobile application and platform "designed to connect you with local meat farmers."

Investors in the round included Andreessen Horowitz, OpenAir Ventures and others.

The company said it would use the financing to build out its technology platform, hire engineers and expand its partnership development efforts.
