Avalanche Accepts $30 Million VC Financing

Fremont, California  --  Semiconductor company Avalanche Technology has secured $30 million series D round of institutional venture capital and strategic investment.

Avalanche is developing improved low-power, non-volatile magnetic semiconductor technologies.

Investors in the round included Bessemer Venture Partners, QUALCOMM, Sequoia Capital, Vulcan Ventures and Thomvest Ventures

The company said it would use the funding to get the first samples of its chips into customer's hands.
