Patientco Secures Series A Venture Capital Investment

   Atlanta, Georgia -- Software technology firm Patientco has raised $3.75 million in its first round of strategic venture capital investment.

Patientco is developing a suite of tools that help healthcare providers communicate more effectively with their patients about healthcare costs.

BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners and Sandbox Industries led the round, which included other investors.

The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used.
