Aerospike Closes Series B Venture Capital Round

   Mountain View, California  --  Software technology company Aerospike has secured an undisclosed amount of second round institutional venture capital investment.

Aerospike is developing new database software that it says will "predictably process high velocity transactions for mission-critical, revenue-generating apps."

New Enterprise Associates let the round, which also included Draper Associates and Alsop Louie Partners.

Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
