Annovation BioPharma Receives Venture Capital Financing

Wayland, Massachusetts -- Biotechnology company Annovation BioPharma (no website) has secured $8 million in its first round of venture capital funding.
Annovation is developing pharmaceutical products in the fields of anesthesia, sedation and sleep.
Partners Innovation Fund, Atlas Venture and The Medicines Company made the investment.
The company said it would use the financing for its preclinical and clinical development initiatives.
