BioFire Lands $25 Million Venture Capital Financing

   Salt Lake City, Utah  --  Clinical diagnostics company BioFire Diagnostics has garnered $25 million in new venture capital funding.

BioFire has developed a FilmArray diagnostic platform for a wide range of clinical, research and military markets.

Athyrium Opportunities Fund made the investment.

The company said it would use the investment to help commercialize its platform.
