908 Devices Closes Series A Venture Capital Round

   Boston, Massachusetts  --  Security technology company 908 Devices has garnered $8.1 million in its first round of institutional venture capital investment.

908 Devices is a very early stage company working on security-related applications for a wide range of potential uses.

ARCH Venture Partners led the round, which included other undisclosed investors.

The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used.
