Aileron Thera Nets Fourth Venture Capital Round

   Cambridge, Massachusetts  --  Biopharmaceutical company Aileron Therapeutics has secured $12 million in a first tranche of its Series D financing round.

Aileron is developing treatments for orphan endocrine disorders.

The company received the investment from a large syndicate of strategic and venture capital firms.

Aileron said it would use the funding for continued clinical development of its lead candidate ALRN-5281.
