Fingerprint Cards Receives Initial Order

   Stockholm, Sweden  --  Fingerprint Cards AB (STO: FINGB) said that it has received an initial mass production order of 100,000 units for its swipe sensor technology.

The technology, initially available for a pilot run for mobile phones in Japan, utilizes biometric components that match an individual's unique fingerprint to verify a person's identity.

Use cases include mobile phones, smart cards, IT and Internet security and access control.
