Largest US Army Solar Project Dedicated

   White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico  -- The U.S. Army officially dedicated its largest solar energy system to date at the White Sands Missile Range.

The 4 MW system was developed in conjunction with Siemens and Bostonia, will supply approximately 10% of the total power used at the military installation.

In addition, the ground-mounted tracking system will also be the world's largest low concentration photovoltaic solar power plant.
