ASUS Launches VariDrive Media Docking Device

   Las Vegas, Nevada  --  ASUS has announced the launch of a new multimedia docking device for notebook and ultra-book computers.

Called the ASUS VariDrive by DisplayLink, the device includes an 8X multi DVD combo drive, with a docking station with HDMI, VGA, gigabit ethernet and HDMI audio.

The device connects to a computer via a USB 3.0 connector. The VariDrive is now available worldwide.
