Estimote Garners Large Seed Venture Capital Round

   San Francisco, California  --  Wireless technology company Estimote has landed $3.1 million in a large seed stage investment round.

Estimote is developing wireless beacons that can be used to transmit information to nearby smartphones in a variety of environments.

Investors in the round included Innovation Endeavors, Betaworks and Bessemer Venture Partners

The company plans to open an office in New York City.
