Mocana Raises $15 Million Venture Capital Equity

   San Francisco, California  --  Security software company Mocana has landed $15 million in a new round of venture capital financing.

Mocana has developed software that simplifies wide-scale secure deployments of mobile applications.

Investors in the round included GE Ventures, Shasta Ventures, Southern Cross Venture Partners, Trident Capital and Symantec.

The company said it would use the funding to expand its product lines and increase its international presence and marketing activities.
