PocketQube Tiny Satellite Begins Operation

   Lexington, Kentucky  --  The PocketQube class satellite that was launched on November 21 is functioning normally with all systems performing as designed.

Called Eagle-1, the tiny satellite, measuring 5cm x 5cm x 15cm and weighing just under 1 pound, aims to demonstrate the potential of new micro technologies in space.

The satellite was developed by a partnership between Kentucky Space, Morehead State University and the University of Rome Aerospace Engineering School.
