Abeona Therapeutics Nets Seed Venture Capital

   Cleveland, Ohio  --  Biotechnology company Abeona Therapeutics has received $750,000 in new seed stage investment.

Abeona is developing therapies for patients with lysosomal storage diseases.

The Children's Medical & Research Foundation and others made the investment.

Abeona said it would use the financing complete preclinical development and set the stage for clinical trials in 2014.
