Travelers Funds Small Biz Risk Course

   Los Angeles, California  --  The Travelers Companies (NYSE: TRV) has funded a Small Business Risk Education (SBRE) program, to the tune of $150,000.

As a result of the grant, the SBRE has provided training to women and minority owned businesses about the various risks associated with small business ownership, such as safety, business continuity and financial risks.

The program launched in Los Angeles in early 2012 and Travelers plans to expand the program to Chicago in 2013.
