ALung Technologies Receives Health Canada Approval

   Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  --  Respiratory medical device maker ALung Technologies has received Health Canada approval to market its Hemolung Respiratory Assist System.

The system provides respiratory dialysis by delivering oxygen directly to the blood and removing carbon dioxide.

The device will become commercially available later this year, but the company says it will allow a small group of Canadian hospitals to have early access to the device.
