Accipiter Systems Accepts Venture Capital Investment

Wexford, Pennsylvania  --  Communications technology firm Accipiter Systems has garnered $3.8 million in new venture equity investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Accipiter develops next-generation data communication systems for custom military and commercial applications.

Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Accipiter is still seeking $14.4 million in additional financing, according to the filing.  Total amount included $3,293,584 of convertible debt securities.
