BiOptix Garners Venture Capital Equity Funding

   Boulder, Colorado  --  Medical diagnostics company BiOptix Diagnostics has received $6.2 million in new venture capital equity funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

BiOptix is developing its proprietary Enhanced Surface Plasmon Resonance platform to detect molecular interactions.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company plans to use the proceeds.

BiOptix is still seeking $1.8 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
