DC Devices Collects Venture Capital Equity Financing

Andover, Massachusetts  --  Medical device maker DC Devices has landed $10.7 million in new venture capital funding, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

DC Devices is developing what it calls the "first trans-catheter device for diastolic heart failure."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed and the company did not say how it would use the funding proceeds.

DC is backed by venture capital firms General Catalyst Partners, Third Rock Ventures and others.
