SimCity Racks Up 1 Million Units Sold

   Redwood City, California  --  Video game maker Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: EA) said that its new SimCity title has sold through more than 1.1 million units in the first two weeks.

In the two weeks since launch, players have logged more than 15 million hours of gameplay, created more than 5.7 million original cities and built more than 780 million buildings.

One of the features of the game is that players can now manage and play up to 16 cities at once, instead of the previous limit of just one single city at a time.
