Bina Technologies Bags Series B VC Funding

   Redwood City, California  --  Biotechnology data company Bina Technologies has landed $6.25 million in its second round of institutional venture capital funding.

Bina is developing a data science platform that aims to accelerate personalized medicine based on genomic analysis.

Sierra Ventures led the round, which included other undisclosed investors.

The company said it plans to triple its headcount with proceeds from the financing.
