   New York, New York  --  Database company AdviceIQ has received $5 million in its first institutional venture capital investment round.

AIQ provides a database to help users find the right financial advisor for their needs.

Penton Media and individual investors participated in the round.

The company said it would use the funding proceeds to expand its sales and marketing efforts and technology development initiatives.
