Cornerstone Pharmaceuticals Nets Venture Capital Debt

Cranberry, New Jersey  --  Cornerstone Pharmaceuticals has secured $4.6 million in new venture capital debt financing, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Cornerstone is developing innovative treatments focused on exploiting the metabolic pathways that are peculiar to specific cancer types.

Investors in the round were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the funding proceeds.

Cornerstone is still seeking $1.4 million in additional venture capital debt, according to the filing.
