BlackRock To Launch Unified Trading Solution

   New York, New York  --  BlackRock and MarketAxxess Holdings announced an alliance to create a unified, open trading solution for US credit market activity.

The purpose of the solution, which will be the result of an alliance between BlackRock's Aladdin Trading Network and MarketAxxess, will be to reduce liquidity fragmentation and improve pricing across credit markets.

MarketAxxess will run electronic trading and broker-dealer operations and BlackRock will provide strategic direction, buy side leadership and trade execution innovations for clients.
