Bloom Energy Garners $130 Million Venture Capital

   Sunnyvale, California  --  Alternative energy company Bloom Energy has secured $130 million in new investment, according to a report in Fortune.

Bloom sells solid oxide fuel cell technology that it says competes with electric power.

The lead investor in the round was not disclosed, however Credit Suisse also participated.

Proceeds purposes were not disclosed.
