Acacia Communications Lands $20 Million Growth Equity

   Maynard, Massachusetts  --  Networking company Acacia Communications has secured $20 million in new growth stage venture capital financing.

Acacia says that it provides solutions to the optical transport and network infrastructure equipment market for coherent 100G, 200G and 400G transceivers.

Summit Capital led the round, which also included Matrix Partners, Commonwealth Capital Ventures and Egan-Managed Capital.

The company said it would use the funding to expand into multiple markets and develop additional core technologies.
