Mountain View, California  --  Software technology company Adaptive Planning has raised $45 million in growth venture capital financing.

Adaptive sells Corporate Performance Management and Business Intelligence software solutions to enterprises and other organizations.

The company says that moving from spreadsheets to its full-featured solution can save up to 80% compared the cost of traditional enterprise planning applications.

Bessemer Venture Partners led the round, which included previous investors ONSET Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, Cardinal Venture Capital, RBC Technology Ventures and Monitor Ventures.

Adaptive said it would use the additional capital to scale its domestic and international sales and marketing efforts as well as continued product investment.
