Fitbit Releases Wireless Flex Wristband

   San Francisco, California  --  Physical activity tracking technology company Fitbit has announced the launch of its new wristband.

Called the Fitbit Flex, the wristband uses Bluetooth 4.0 to transmit fitness statistics wirelessly to the user's Apple or Android devices.




The wristband tracks steps taken, distance traveled and calories burned as well as active minutes. It also tracks how long and how well the person sleeps and enables the user to utilize online dashboard to view their statistics.

The unit is available for $99.95 on the company website and at major US retailers.
