Cordis Lands FDA Clearance For Catheter

   Fremont, California  --  Cordis Corporation announced that it has obtained U.S. marketing clearance from the FDA for its guiding catheter.

Called the ADROIT Guiding Catheter, the device enables physicians to more easily advance devices with its 0.072' diameter, while providing better support and control.

It has the largest inner diameter of any guiding catheter in the United States and provides for treatment of cases with complex lesions and those to be conducted using a radial approach.

Cordis is a subsidiary of the Johnson & Johnson Corporation.
