Covestor Collects Venture Capital Investment

   Boston, Massachusetts  --  Internet financial services company Covestor has closed $12.75 million in its Series B round of institutional venture capital firm investment.

Covestor provides a service to consumers that essentially operates as a social investing service to help them find better financial managers for their portfolios.




Investors in the round included Union Square Ventures, Spark Capital, Amadeus Capital and Bay Partners.

The company said it would use the proceeds to accelerate its growth initiatives.
