Active Implants Nets Venture Capital Debt Funding

   Memphis, Tennessee  --  Medical device maker Active Implants has secured $600,000 in new venture capital debt investment, according to an SEC regulatory filing.

Active Implants sells cushion bearing orthopedic implants for knees and hips.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed.

Active Implants is still seeking $1.4 million in venture debt, according to the filing.
