Apex Learning Garners Venture Capital

   Seattle, Washington  --  Education technology developer Apex Learning has secured $8.3 million in new venture capital debt and equity, according to an SEC filing.

Apex publishes a wide variety of online instructional materials for secondary level students.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, and nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

Apex is backed by venture capital and private equity firms.
