Artisan Mobile Accepts Series A Venture Capital Funding

   Philadelphia, Pennsylvania  --  Artisan Mobile has received $5.5 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

Artisan is creating what it calls a Mobile Experience Management platform that enables developers to create and manage mobile experiences more easily.




FirstMark Capital and other investors made the investment.

The company said it would use the financing to expand its sales and marketing efforts as well as accelerate product development.
