Scripted Lands Series A Venture Capital

San Francisco, California  --  Internet technology company Scripted has secured $4.5 million in its first round of institutional venture capital investment.

Scripted is developing an online marketplace to connect freelance writers with publishers.

Crosslink Capital led the round, which also included Redpoint Ventures.

The company said it would use the financing to scale its operations.
