Affirmed Networks Accepts New Venture Capital

Acton, Massachusetts  --  Wireless technology company Affirmed Networks has closed $51 million in its third round of institutional venture capital investment.

Affirmed is developing technologies to assist mobile network operators with providing for rapidly growing data usage.

Bessemer Venture Partners led the round, which included other undisclosed investors.

The company said it would use the funding to support multiple deployments and additional trials throughout the world.
