Bloomberg Launches Technology Venture Capital Fund

San Francisco, California  --  Bloomberg L.P. announced the launch of a new $75 million venture fund.

Called Bloomberg Beta, the fund will operate as a separate entity and will select early-stage companies independently of any possible business relationship with Bloomberg L.P.

The fund's initial focus will be on companies producing data insights and "making the experience of work better."
