Bench Bags $2 Million Seed Venture Capital

New York, New York  --  Financial services software company Bench has secured $2 million in seed venture capital investment.

Bench has created what it calls a "modern, online bookkeeping service for independent businesses."

Investors in the round included Contour Venture Partners, High Peaks Ventures and Lerer Ventures.

The company did not say how the funding proceeds would be used.
