Canonical Launches $32 Million Crowdfunding Campaign

   London, UK  --  Ubuntu developer Canonical announced the official launch of a $32 million crowdfunding campaign.

Now available on Indiegogo, the campaign will attempt to raise the financing over 30 days for a production run of 40,000 devices powered by Ubuntu Edge.

The phone will be able to run either Ubuntu or the Google Android Operating systems and promises to transform into a personal computer when docked with a monitor.

The device will launch with 128 GB of storage.
