BoxCast Bags Seed Stage Venture Capital

   Cleveland, Ohio  --  Digital media company BoxCast has raised at least $250,000 in seed stage financing.

BoxCast has created a dedicated video compression device that it says is the most affordable available.

Jumpstart and others made the investment.

The company said it would use the funding proceeds to support the continued development and operation of its cloud-based video storage and streaming service.
