Biotech Firms To Host Open House For Young Scientists

   Rockville, Maryland  --  Top biotechnology firms will host open houses for aspiring young scientists in the Montgomery County area.

MedImmune, Qiagen and Emergent BioSolutions will open their laboratories to local middle school students interested in the life sciences.

This is part of the Young Science Explorers Program, a weeklong science workshop for seventh and eighth grade students in Montgomery County.

The workshop is made possible by the MdBioLab, amobile BioScience laboratories aimed at fostering interest among high school students throughout the state of Maryland.
