Hartford, Connecticut  --  Insurance provider Aetna (NYSE: AET) has announced the launch of a customizable version of its consumer health application.

Working with Aetna subsidiary iTriage, Aetna's 4,000 midsized employer clients will now be able to provide a company specific, enhanced version of the application that customizes information for consumers based on their specific health benefits plan.

The application also educates members about health conditions, where they can be treated and reduces administrative work for healthcare providers.
