eASIC Receives Strategic Venture Capital Funding

Santa Clara, California  --  Semiconductor chip company eASIC has raised an undisclosed amount of strategic venture capital investment.

eASIC provides programmable ASIC products that include configurable logic and structured ASICs to help reduce cost.

Seagate made the investment.

The two companies will also explore opportunities to jointly develop custom chips for Seagate's Solid State Drives.
