DFINE Lands CE Mark For Tumor Ablation System

San Jose, California  --  Spinal disease treatment company DFINE has received European CE Mark approval for marketing its tumor ablation system.

Called the STAR Tumor Ablation System, it provides RF ablation for patients with spinal tumors through precise delivery of heat to destroy the tumor.

It is estimated that 30 - 40% of cancer patients will likely develop metastatic spinal tumors.
