Sapheon Submits Partial PMA For Device

Morrisville, North Carolina  --  Sapheon said that it has submitted the first module for its pre-market approval (PMA) application for its new varicose vein disease closure system.

Called the VenaSeal Sapheon Closure System, the single use kit aims to assist in the treatment of venous reflux disease.

Sapheon is sponsoring a number of studies to determine its safety and effectiveness when compared to radio frequency thermal ablation.
