Active Implants Adds $26 Million Venture Capital

Memphis, Tennessee  --  Medical device company Active Implants has secured $26 million in new venture capital equity financing.

Active Implants is developing new material that helps create longer-lasting implants.

View Capital RIA and River Street Management co-led the round.

The company said funding proceeds would be used to complete  a multi-center trial on its meniscus implant.
