Datto Nets $25 Million Growth Venture Equity

   Norwalk, Connecticut  --  Storage technology company Datto has received $25 million in growth stage venture capital funding.

Founded in 2007, Datto has developed a variety of backup and business continuity solutions for small and medium-sized businesses across a variety of vertical markets.

General Catalyst Partners led the round, which included other undisclosed investors.

Datto said it would use the proceeds for international expansion, new product development and enhanced services for existing customers.
