Immersion Licenses Technology To Xiaomi

   San Jose, California  --  Immersion Corporation (NASDAQ: IMMR) has announced that it has executed a multiyear licensing arrangement with Xiaomi, a fast-growing smartphone manufacturer in China.

The Xiaomi Mi3 smartphone utilizes Immersion's haptic technology to enable users to select which strength of tactile effects they wish to experience on their smartphone.

The agreement represents the first of its kind for Immersion in China.
