VolunteerSpot Sees Venture Capital Funding

   Austin, TX  --  Internet technology company VolunteerSpot has landed $1.3 million in new financing, according to an SEC filing.

VolunteerSpot is developing software that enables anyone to "quickly mobilize and coordinate volunteers in their community, congregation and social network."

Investors in the financing were not disclosed, nor was how the company intends to use the proceeds.

VolunteerSpot is still seeking $710,000 in additional financing, according to the filing.

Minimum investment size is $15,000 per investor.
