   Rancho Santa Fe, CA  --  Medical device company 5i Sciences (no website) has received $1.93 million in venture capital debt financing, according to a regulatory filing.

5i is developing medical device technologies for obstructive sleep apnea.

Investors in the financing were not disclosed.

5i is still seeking $2.07 million in additional financing, according to the filing.
